Q. What makes Freelance Website Designers better than companies?
A. There is one person working on your website, not 5. The bottom line is as a Freelancer, I respect and cherish each one of my clients, cause they keep me in business.
Q. Is a Freelancer cheaper?
A. In my case, yes. I’ve done some price comparisons with other freelance designers because that’s smart business, and I’m happy to say my pricing is one of the best for what you get.
Q. I’m ready to begin, what do I do?
A. Sign up for a billing account at http://stephboreldesign.com/billing/register.php. I will then send you your deposit invoice, and we can get started.
Q. Will I be able to edit my website?
A. YES. I design most websites on top of a WordPress CMS. It’s harder to do, but in the end clients want to be able to edit their website content, and I don’t have the heart to design something you won’t be able to edit. If you’re web project is something that can’t be developed on top of WordPress, then I will let you know before we move forward with a deposit.
Q. I don’t want a blog, why would you use wordpress?
A. WordPress isn’t what it use to be, it’s actually a very powerful and reliable content management system. It’s there with an option to use its blogging capabilities, but in the end, its set up in order for you to edit the content of your pages. If you don’t want WordPress or the ability to edit your pages, I can definitely not include, however editing your website will become costly.
Q. Do you offer refunds?
A. There are cases where a refund will be issued. If it’s within a reasonable time frame, and we cannot reach a mutual vision of what your website should look like, then by all means, its easiest just to part ways. However, refunds are granted at the discretion of Steph Borel (Design). Deposits are non-refundable, however in cases such as the above, a partial refund of deposit will be released after hourly rate x hours spent on the project have been deducted.
Q. How do I pay you?
A. I use a secure payment gateway for all transactions. You’ll be invoiced through a billing system that will guide you through the process. Which means you can pay with a credit or debit card. You can also send payments via check to the address provided on the invoice
Q. How do I give you access to my Customerhub Dashboard?
- Login to your Customerhub Dashboard.
- Go to “Settings”, then “Users”.
- Click on the “Add User” Button.
- Enter First name Steph, Last name Borel, and email address firstname.lastname@example.org
- Click invite.
- If you have already added Steph Borel through your Infusionsoft account and see my name under Infusionsoft users, click Invite towards the right of my email address.
- And that’s it. I’ll start your development as soon as I can login and will drop you a line once it’s ready for you to view.
