I woke up this morning as I always do to check my email, figure out todays work agenda, and carry on from there, when I opened google.com to find Topeka above the search bar.
As with any google logo changed, I thought it was some kind of off ball holiday i didn’t know about so i decided to click on it and read what this was about. Apparently Google announced that they have changed their name. I’m not gonna lie, I fell for it.. I ran into the bedroom and explained the story I read about google changing their name and we both just said “LAME” and moved on..
But it bugged me.. So then I found this:

Good ol’ google and their april fools jokes!! I didn’t even know it was april fools! My heads so far up my works butt that I didn’t stop and think properly.
So to google I say thank you. We all need a good slap in the face every now and then.. people take life to seriously and it’s really easy to do when you’re caught working 12 hour days.
